The burial service of Ethiopian architect Simegnew Bekele, who kicked the bucket from a shot injury on Thursday, will happen on Sunday, the sorting out council said.
At first it had been believed that he would be covered on Friday, yet in an announcement the board of trustees, principally made up of government authorities, said it needed to put off the internment to make game plans for a greater memorial service "that a national legend like him merits".
The passing of Mr Simegnew, who was accountable for Ethiopia's most prominent framework venture, the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, has been met with stun and an overflowing of sadness.
He was found in an auto in the fundamental square of Ethiopia's capital, Addis Ababa, on Thursday morning.
There were shows in Addis Ababa and in Mr Simegnew's home city of Gondar, calling for equity.
Police are examining the conditions of his demise.
